Nowadays, production companies are forced to seek cheaper ways of executing professional castings. Yet, on the other hand, many talented and hard-working actors struggle, unfairly, to get access to professional castings. Therefore, we provide a bridge between the two.

Until recently, in order to give an actor the chance to audition, casting directors demanded showreels comprising several professional film scenes. Ironically, most actors were unable to produce such showreels before being called to auditions. Professional studio style reels, which are relatively cheap to execute, are becoming the norm nowadays and give equal opportunities to talented and hard-working actors of all levels.

Free Use of Your Showreel Material

Did you know that sharing your showreel of film and TV scenes without the owner’s permission is illegal? Youtube deletes these materials. Some licence owners ask a fee from the actors in order to provide them with the material. Our users are free to share their Actingjet reels without limitation.

Why Archetypes?

Most of the audiovisual casting is based on archetypes. Directors and producers cast Archetypes or cast against type. On the other hand, many actors fail in the casting process because they are not able to present clear archetypes.
